Discover the beautifully balanced flavours of two Johnnie Walker whiskies in a guided tasting of these remarkable blends at Johnnie Walker Princes Street. During this 45-minute sensory experience we will uncover the incredible craft and character behind these enigmatic spirits.
You will meet your host in our Retail Space, who will then escort you to our secret cinema room where one of our whisky experts will guide you through a tasting of Johnnie Walker Blue Label (40% ABV), where rare casks, craft and character combine to create a vibrant Scotch whisky with rolling waves of flavour.
Your guide will then introduce you to Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ice Chalet (43% ABV), a brand-new Johnnie Walker innovation launched in October 2024. Inspired by the perfect moment between sunset and twilight on the slopes, when the sky shifts to a deeper shade of blue, Master Blender Emma Walker has created a Scotch whisky inspired by the beauty of winter and Après Ski with friends. Blending some of Scotland’s highest distilleries and coldest winters to deliver a velvety-smooth experiences that evokes fresh snow, warm fires and crisp mountain air.

Ancient Egypt Transformed: The Middle Kingdom
During Egypt’s great Middle Kingdom (ca. 2030–1650 B.C.), earlier artistic conventions, cultural principles, religious beliefs, and political systems were revived and reimagined.
Anubis on Plinth ornament
A small ornament showing a seated Anubis, the ancient Egyptian god of the dead. Here Anubis is shown on a golden plinth (colomn) that is adorned with hieroglyphs. The ornament is based on a statue found at the tomb of Tutankhamun, who was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty.

The Viking Game: Hnefatafl
A board game called Hnefatafl which originates from Viking times. Hnefatafl, also known as The Viking Game, The King's Table or simply Tafl, is one of the rare breed of games with two unequal sides. The defending side comprises twelve soldiers and a king, who start the game in a cross formation in the centre of the board. Their objective is for the king to escape by reaching any of the four corner squares. This Hnefatafl set features a fabric playing board with resin pieces, presented in a gold-foiled burgundy box.
